14th Region: Week 10

Weekly Notes:

Powell County is on fire right now as we head into the final two weeks of the regular season. Pirates have won 5 straight and 7 of they're last 8. SO Connor Morguson had 37 points on 11 3's in the Pirates 86-64 win over district foe, Estill County.

The Patriots of Knott County Central have gotten things rolling as of late winning 6 straight. 4 of those 6 wins came against district opponents.

Hazard is picking up steam having won 6 of they're last 7 but that lone loss was to Coach Huff's old team, Knott County Central last week.

Breathitt County, the tale of the week is the Bobcats 64-61 loss at Estill County on Saturday. The Engineers had only 6 wins on the season going into the game while Breathitt County was considered the #2 team in the region.

Perry County Central picked up two district wins last week. They now stand at 4-2 in they're district.

Flinchum soars for 53. Lee County standout, Corey Flinchum poured in 53 of his teams 68 points in they're 68-65 thrilling overtime win over Estill County.
