Any thoughts on the Freshmen Tournament this Saturday at Owen Co.?

Best of luck to the LadyCats!!!!

I think it depends on who the coaches decide to play, since many of the freshman start varsity and really are not included in the tourney unless their coach decides to play the "true freshman".

CC has mostly 8th graders and 7th graders along with a few freshman to round out the team. I know that is true of Owen also.

It should be fun though to watch these young girls compete.

From what i know gallatin is also made up of younger girls and not freshman, so i think it is a draw on who wins because i believe they all play about even. Should be a good one to watch though.

Anyone have matchups??

Gallatin/Henry and Carrol/Owen

All 4 teams have beaten up on each other during season should be a good one. I will go with the defending champs the GC Lady Wildcats.

I think Owen has a homecourt advantage but...I have to take my Panthers depending on who the coaches play.

We'll make the announcement on the broadcast tonight.

I think Carroll Co. has the best Fresman class, if the all play

Carroll County won this tournament by beating Gallatin in the final game. It was a good tournament and I saw a lot of talent from all of the counties out on the floor today.

CC played outstanding defense and really played as a team. It was the best they have looked all year. Nice time to come together.

THis is actually the 31st district tournament not the 8th region...

GOOD JOB LADIES!!:dancingpa

Congrats to the Freshman Lady Panthers.
