If you look at the totals points that NDA scored you might think that NDA had a bad shooting night, but really for every shot that NDA took tonight, they must have literally made 20 passes to one another before they took a shot. This game reminded me of coaching a soccer team that you had the game in hand, and you didn't want to run the score up, so you told your team to pass, pass and pass again before you could take a shot. Dickman had 10 points and Drees had 9, but in all fairness to either, they didn't really get to shoot all that much. Scott HS made only 5 field goals tonight for a total of 10 points from the floor, while scoring the other 7 from the free throw line. Coach D again was so very nice to a team that was clearly over matched, by not allowing her team, to play the kind of basketball that they could......

Clearly NDA needs to straightens their schedule at the end of the season, to get their players ready for the tournament, as playing teams like Campbell and Scott HS clearly doesn't help them......

I talked with some of the other NDA regulars tonight, about NDA playing in a NDA/CovCath vs. either Scott HS, or LexCath double header at CovCath, or maybe even at the new (if it is ready) Bank of Kentucky Arena at NKU. Sure would bring in a huge crowd, and if they played this game at CovCath on a Friday night, it would be neat for the kids then to go across the CovCath Highway to NDA to attend a dance after the game.......

Also it would be great if CovCath could would expand their Bluegrass/Buckeye tourney next year to include both NDA and Boone County Ladies to go up against some of Cincinnati finest teams.

Maybe the future Colonel Moms could then get lucky and have their future Colonel husbands take them to the malt shop and lisen to the 45s on the jukebox.

NDA did have one dance early in September, and the place was packed. Seems the kids enjoy the dances just like the teenagers did back in my day..... :sssh: At least IMO the administration doesn't want to spend the time overseeing the event, as I do know plenty of parents that would be more than willing to chaperon the event.. and BTW before you ask, while I didn't work at the last dance, I have done so for the prom, and two of the dances over the last two years. My wife and I and all the parents who did, had a great time, as did the kids....

At least NDA still has dances from time to time other than proms or special events....does your school?
