After stepping down unexpectedly in November 2021 only to return to his post two days later, Coach Patterson coached his 7th season as head boys hoops coach at Knox Central that season before stepping down in May 2022. During his tenure the Panthers were 170-50, winning 7 district titles and 3 regional titles.

Kris Mills followed Patterson and coached for one season before resigning, and then Mitchell Madden left Oneida Baptist to take over at Knox Central in April of 2023. Madden stepped down as the Panthers coach in mid-August to deal with personal health issues.
