Interception Conner, Crawlman. Conner ball at own 39,  6:33 Q3.

Fumble Conner, Scott recovers at Conner 48. Gotten very sloppy in the last few minutes.

Conner bails out Scott on a 4th an 20 with a roughing the kicker, sloppiness continues.

Long pass for Scott to inside Conner 5. Then Scott fumbles, Conner recovers. Can someone give me an adjective that is beyond “sloppy?”

80yd TD run by Abernathy for Conner TD, PAT good.

45-14 Conner, 3:27 Q3.

Conner TD, Montgomery short run, PAT good.

52-14 Conner, end of Q3, running clock at start of Q4.

TD Scott, missed player, PAT good.

52-21 Conner, clock will be under 3:00 by the time they kickoff.

Game over, 52-21 Conner over Scott.

They definitely need to figure out the defensive side of the ball to have any chance. The offense is scoring, they just aren't getting much help. Special Teams seems to be a big issue as well. Not sure they can kick farther then 15 or 20 yards. Tough year for the Eagles.

Scott had a stretch in the second quarter where they showed the ability to move the ball with the short fast passing game.  They had to abandon that approach due to the margin in this game, but it definitely looked like something they could build on.

I would hope the off-season is spent finding ways to maximize their great potential on defense. Obviously what they did this year hasn't worked. Losing Trey Cook and the rest of the senior class will hurt the offense, but they have nice pieces coming back.

If you look who is playing, Scott is extremely young.  They don't have a lot of juniors.  Sophomore class has some promise, if they can keep everyone.

Injuries have really hurt them this year.
