Ashland's defense was on another level tonight. Boyd County had three first downs on penalties in the first half and one first down in the second. The Lions scored on a rare mistake by Cam Davis on a punt return. That was the only thing Cam did wrong as Boyd had no answer for him. Speed was the difference as the Tomcats lived in the Lion backfield. The Lions just had no where to go on offense. Defensively the Lions had some moments in the first quarter but just couldn't sustain it.
