Scattered showers and storms are expected Monday afternoon and evening. Some storms could become strong to severe. The main threats are gusty winds, lightning, and small hail. Strong storms will be possible on Tuesday as well. 

 

The Weather Prediction Center has Kentucky under a level 1 marginal risk for isolated flash flooding for both Monday and Tuesday.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms will move through the region today with additional activity tonight. Some storms may become strong to severe, capable of gusty winds, hail, brief heavy rainfall, and lightning.

Throughout the day, there will be storms and showers. Strong, maybe severe storms could develop. Small hail, lightning, and strong gusts are the primary risks. Tuesday and now Wednesday might see strong storms.
