Boone County’s defense and special teams made huge plays in the second half that was the difference in this game. Boone County defense had a pick 6. Then special teams Boone County got a punt block for a safety, a PAT block, and also a big kick return down to the 20 to set up another score. Boone County’s running back also had a very good game running the ball.

No doubt. Walton-Verona picked up its first ever win over Boone last year. So definitely good for Boone to get back on the winning side of this series after losing last year. Good momentum for them moving forward.
