? ’Well Rested Jags Journey North To Test Stout Indians Defense’

- Fresh off asserting its authority over rival MadSouth, Madison Central welcomes a North Laurel team eager to resume play following a bye week.
- The last time we saw the Jags, they averaged three yards per play in a loss to Corbin. The defense has been sturdy, but the offense is very much a work in progress.
- The Indians abide by the time tested approach of hard nosed defense and running the football. They keep the ball on the ground 90% of the time - only two completed passes reported so far this season - and allow just seven points per game.
- This has the makings of a trap game for 6A’s #8 team, with a trip to Georgetown and Scott County looming next week for the Indians.

- Madison Central leads 5-2 since 1998, but North Laurel won the most recent meeting, 14-7, in 2023.
