Elizabethtown won a sloppy game vs LaRue County on Friday night. Both teams had multiple turnovers on offense in this game. LaRue County turned the ball over six times and lost the on five of sic drives in the second half as Elizabethtown pulled away for a 34-14 victory.

Elizabethtown's strength is its defense. As the season goes on you have the feeling that their offense will come around, making them a pretty strong team by the end of November.

Meade County, on the other hand, struggled mightily against Taylor County enroute to a 20-0 loss. In this game, Meade County ran the wildcat with RB Rainey in the backfield. With the loss of their QB against North Hardin the week before, they were forced to use Rainey in hopes that they can get Loggins cleared in the next couple of weeks or develop one of the upcoming freshman to run this offense. Their problem is not only at QB but an offensive line that gives little time for the QB/RB to get out of the backfield.

Mt Prediction: Elizabethtown 26 Meade County 14
