Week 2

Jacob Savage (RB/LB, Ryle)

?️ | There were nimble feet, a dash of speed, a wicked stiff arm, and the ever present nose for the football. He may have also snatched the soul from a Conner ball carrier. Aside from the three touchdowns he scored, that nose netted him enough tackles to become Ryle’s all-time leader.
Season so far: 23 carries for 155 yards and 4 touchdowns | 1 receiving touchdown | 12 tackles | 2 TFL

Markezz Hightower (RB, Madisonville-North Hopkins)
⭐⭐⭐⭐
?️ | Continued to add to the Hightower legacy in Madisonville, running for 231 and four touchdowns against Hopkinsville. Markezz still has a long road ahead before reaching brother Jeriah’s school record 3K in 2019, but he's off on the right foot so far.
Season so far: 37 carries for 427 yards and 7 touchdowns | 1 receiving touchdown

Grayson Harris (WR/DB, Simon Kenton)
⭐⭐⭐⭐
?️ | In a word… indefensible. That was Harris against Western Brown (OH). The damage (numbers unofficial): 8 receptions for 200+ yards and 3 touchdowns. He took as good as he gave, picking off two passes to showcase his defensive prowess.
Season so far: 12 receptions for (unofficially) 300 yards and 3 touchdowns | 2 interceptions 

Colin Daniels (QB, North Oldham)
⭐⭐⭐⭐
?️ | With the line between favorites and dark horses continuing to blur, Daniels is emerging as a name worthy of contention. He's been razor sharp thus far, picking apart North Bullitt for 232 yards and three touchdowns on 14/15 attempts ? last week, plus another on the ground. Through two weeks, he's got as many touchdown passes as incompletions.
Season so far: 27/32 (84%) for 434 yards and 5 touchdowns | 1 rushing touchdown

Marlon Harbin III (ATH, Saint Xavier)
⭐⭐⭐
?️ | He's painting within the lines of the St. X offense while the Tigers collect wins over brand names, this time over Bowling Green, against whom Harbin ran for 62 yards and a couple of touchdowns. When the need arises, his paintbrush can stray outside the lines in any direction the Tigers ask.
Season so far: 15 carries for 77 yards and 3 touchdowns | 7 receptions for 110 yards and 1 touchdown 

Rio Litmer (QB, Highlands)
⭐⭐⭐
?️ | His position as a viable candidate is weakened by the scene stealing of Tayden Lorenzen, but Litmer remains a relevant figure in this discussion after leading the Birds past O'Hara and Cooper with 180 yards and a touchdown on 17/25 passing. He rolled left, then right, before uncorking a 40 yard missile across his body for a touchdown in the waning moments of the first half. It was the throw of the night until it was negated by laundry on the field.
Season so far: 30/43 (70%) for 313 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception

Cash Harney (QB, Covington Catholic)
⭐⭐⭐
?️ | CovCath has acquitted itself well in its 0-2 start and Harney’s played his heart out against Ryle and Elder. That's as difficult a two game start as any other Mr. ? hopeful has faced. Despite the loss last week, his 258 total yards against a GCL power elevates his standing this week.
Season so far: 24/34 (70.59%) for 358 yards and 2 touchdowns with 3 interceptions | 215 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns 

Wyatt Robbins (QB, Murray)
⭐⭐⭐
?️ | He garnered plenty of attention in WKY last year, but he's expanded his reach this season to a broader audience. Buzz has begun swirling around him after another strong performance in Week 2: 21/25 for 238 yards and a touchdown, plus 127 rushing against Calloway County.
Season so far: 33/46 for 470 yards and 5 touchdowns | 193 rushing yards

Gerian Traynor (RB, Manual)
⭐⭐
?️ | Daylight is hard to find when running into the black hole of a South Warren defense. Traynor (17 carries for 80 yards) isn't your run of the mill ball carrier, but he met the same fate as so many that have come before him. 
Season so far: 29 carries for 248 yards and 3 touchdowns | 1 receiving touchdown 

Crystal ball for Week 3 ?
Ryle handles Cooper, further driving a wedge between Savage and O'Hara, who's stock will take another hit. He may actually take direct hits from Savage, himself.
