A cold front is moving into the area on Wednesday, and strong to severe storms might develop late in the day. By the evening or night, storms are predicted to form over parts of Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana before moving eastward into Kentucky.

The main issue with this severe threat is destructive winds, although all severe hazards (wind, hail, and tornadoes) are conceivable. Some localized flooding problems may also be caused by heavy rainfall.
