Per the Central Hardin Lady Bruins facebook page: "We would like to extend our warmest wishes to Coach Petersen and his wife, Alaena, as they embark on an exciting new chapter in their lives and careers. The Lady Bruins were truly blessed to have been a part of Coach P's journey, and we will deeply miss him. What an incredible impact he has had, on our program! Once a Bruin, Always a Bruin!"

Not sure if this means Coach Petersen is leaving for a new job, or just doing something else right now. No clue who might be interested in this position either. It could be an attractive job, being one of the largest high schools in the region. It's somewhat of a tough district that Elizabethtown has had a pretty good handle on for the better part of a decade but year in, year out, Central is always a contender in the district.

Jordan Cooper-Lyvers has been announced as the new girls coach. Jordan has been the assistant coach for the past 2 seasons on the boys side at Central Hardin. Previous to that he was the boys head coach at Bethlehem.
