NKY Senior Losses for 2025-26 Season

Featured Replies

I wanted to take a moment to share the Top 10/15 teams that ended our regular season and show you their seniors and how many points and rebounds each team will be losing.  Obviously, this doesn't take into effect any transfers that are rumored or may ultimately happen, just a glimpse of the graduating seniors and who loses the most...and who loses very, very little in terms of production.  Thought it would be an interesting snapshot.

1.  Cooper:  loses Thompson.  9.5 ppg and 3.6 rpg

2.  Simon Kenton:  Blevins and Neltner.  3.5 ppg and 2.2 rpg

3.  Dixie:  Buddenberg, Crawford, and Puitz.  28.7 ppg, 9.1 rpg

4.  Notre Dame:  Burden, Gibson, M. Lawrie, Lenihan, and M. McGraw.  27.1 ppg and 16.2 rpg

5.  Holy Cross:  Carter, Lehmkuhl, and Nelson.  27.2 ppg and 9.8 rpg

6.  Campbell County:  Appel and Peoples.  4.9 ppg and 5.4 rpg

7.  Highlands:  Barrett, Berry, Green, and E. Orme.  23.5 ppg and 16.7 rpg

8.  Brossart:  E. Clift, Z. Meyers, and Woosley.  17.7 ppg and 7.0 rpg

9.  Walton Verona:  Christy, Fuller, and Terrell.  31.2 ppg and 13.6 rpg

10.  Grant County:  Barnes, Cummins, and Menefee.  33.7 ppg and 14.9 rpg

11.  NewCath:  J. Brannen, K. Brannen, Eaglin, and McFarland.  39.6 ppg and 18.1 rpg

12.  Scott:  Cole, Deaton, Patterson, Kaia Peterson, and Sanders.  17.9 ppg and 11.2 rpg

13.  Ryle:  Fong.  .9 ppg and .8 rpg

14.  St. Henry:  Blackburn, Slocum, and Unkraut.  11.6 ppg and 11.3 rpg

15.  Conner:  Burcham and Craddock.  13.6 ppg and 6.3 rpg

Scary that Cooper and SK return so much.   Dixie may take a step back, but Asia and Pelfrey are a great place to start.  Notre Dame will be different, but they have so much institutional depth, they'll likely be fine.  Holy Cross loses a lot and will need that sophomore class to step up and to lead them for the next two years.  Campbell County will be really good again.  Highlands will be more different than anyone, for sure, but should still be very solid and tough-minded.  Brossart has good young players, but Zoe and Woosley were great leaders.  WV, GC, and NewCath will be question marks to start the year after huge losses, especially NewCath (obviously).  Scott should be similar to this year, could be better as the season unfolds, and they have some great young players.  Ryle will be much better assuming McClain stays in the Bluegrass (I'm doubtful, but you never know).  St. Henry and Conner should be similar to slightly better.

Hope this helps a little, enjoy the off-season and AAU season to those playing.
