Final from Rupp. The Lady Broncos with a big win over one of the better teams in the state. Douglass after losing one of the better players in senior Kate Baker who had to have knee surgery. The Lady Broncos trailed 21-9 with just over 7 minutes in the 2nd quarter and outscored Simon Kenton 39 to 18 the rest of the way. Douglass improves to 26-7 and will take on Taylor County in the quarterfinals on Friday at 1:30pm. Simon Kenton's season ends at 26-5.

Douglass was lead in scoring by 8th grader Tamia Wade who had 18 points and only missed one shot all night. She was 7-8 from the floor, 2-2 from, and 2-2 from the line. Simon Kenton was led by Brynli Pernell who had 12 in the loss.
