rerun Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 The two and three seeds (Boyd vs Fleming) in the first round is unfortunate. But, even if the tournament was seeded they would most likely have to play in the second round. And, if you think about it there could be a little advantage to playing that game in the first round since the winner won't have to play the toughest game in their bracket the night before the final. Not that Morgan or Russell wouldn't be competitive in a second round game, it's March and anything can happen. In the other bracket I just can't see Elliott, Rowan, or Raceland beating the Tomcats. Again, anything can happen but the upset would not only depend on one of those teams playing their best game but on the Tomcats really playing poorly. I can't see Coach Bonner and Zander letting that happen. But, crazier things have happened.
