6th Region: Week 12 and District Tournament Preview

So the time has come! Tournament time and district week is here where we will start having teams eliminated and get to the cream of the crop in each region.

I still feel this is the most balanced region in the state with 7 teams that could essentially win the region. Butler is the favorite as they have not lost a region game all year but my top 7 are all capable of getting hot and winning the region. I will take PRP as my 6th region champ. let's get to the rankings and the district pairings.

Wednesday – Valley vs. Pleasure Ridge Park, 6; Holy Cross vs. Fairdale, 7:30

Friday – Final, 7:30

Prp will have no problems with Valley, Holy Cross and Fairdale will be a good game I will take Fairdale in a close one.

PRP and Fairdale will be a good district Final.

22^nd at Western

Sunday – 54 Doss vs. 57 Iroquois, 2

Tuesday – Western vs. DeSales, 5:45;Iroquois vs. Butler  7:30

Thursday – Final, 7:30

Desales and Butler will play here in District Final with Butler winning.

23^rd at North Bullitt

Monday – Bullitt Central vs. Evangel Christian, 6

Wednesday – Bullitt Central-Evangel Christian winner vs. Moore, 6; Southern vs. North Bullitt, 7:30

Friday – Final, 6

Moore and North Bullitt should advance from this district to the regional.

24^th at Bullitt East

Tuesday – Whitefield Academy vs. Jeffersontown, 5:30; Fern Creek vs. Bullitt East, 7:30

Thursday – Final, 7

Jeffersontown and Bullitt East should advance to regional from this district.
