-Not a whole lot of movement as we enter the final week.  Considering the expected weather, this may look extremely similar to the final poll next week.
-Warren Central's win over Adair County earns them the biggest bump, along with Ballard moving up three spots after downing Seneca and Eastern.  Ballard did lose to Mercer County yesterday, so they may actually drop next week.
-Green County slides the most after the loss to Male.

 

 

 

 

 

*Broken record - St. X the consensus #1 in all polls with all first place votes.  Just an outstanding season!

*Great Crossing was a consensus #2, the only other one this week.

*The loss to Henry Clay dropped Frederick Douglass from the consensus top 5, coming in 6th in the Kentucky High School Sports Zone poll. Hazard and Marshall County join them as consensus top 10 teams.  Manual (Media 11), Bryan Station (KYHSZ 12), and Calloway County (KSR 12) were all ranked in three of the four top 10s.  

*Kentucky High School Sports Zone has Adair County 5th, down just one single spot after the home loss to Warren Central.  No other poll has them above 17th.  The target of my ire for weeks - they have Boyd County 11th.  No other poll has them ranked and this has been the case for weeks.  They're the only one that has Bryan Station outside the top 5 - coming in at 12th.  They've got Green County 9 spots below their next lowest rank, they have Butler 11 spots below their next lowest rank.  It's just bizarre how far afield they are from everyone else.

*There are five unicorns this week (a team that was rated by only a single outlet), down from eight last week.  Boyd County, of course, is one of those.  KSR still is the only one that believes in PR, who are still #14 in those rankings.  Kentucky High School Sports Zone is the only one to rank Montgomery County (19th) and Lexington Catholic (23rd), while Nations Elite is the only one to rank Simon Kenton (21st).

*Henry Clay got their moment in the sun, ranked in three of the four polls.  They took a loss to Sayre yesterday which may send them right back out.  As mentioned before, Ballard may see the same fate after the loss to Mercer County.
