After suffering a 44-29 loss to Danville Christian in the KY 2A State Championships Tournament, the Hazard Bulldogs would bounce back and pick up two big wins, defeating both Wolfe County 66-46 and Perry County Central 62-49. Could be no stopping Al Holland and the Bulldogs this season. They're on a mission.

After suffering back to back losses, the prior week, Breathitt County won all four games last week in which all four were all double digit wins for the Bobcats. Breathitt County looks to be on a collision course with Hazard yet again. These two will meet towards the end of February but more importantly, they could meet when it counts, regional tournament.

Perry County Central split two games last week, both in which were district games, defeating Buckhorn 84-51 before falling to Hazard 62-49. The Commodores have won 6 of they're last 8.

Knott County Central has won 5 straight and 11 of they're last 13 games. They've came on strong after a slow start to the season. Can they keep it up? Especially when it matters?

The Pirates went 2-1 last week, falling to Montgomery County 46-23,a team they defeated earlier in the season. The Pirates would bounce back and pick up two huge district wins, defeating Lee County 78-60 and Estill County 60-51.

The Jenkins Cavaliers have been tremendously good this season and are currently in second play in they're district after defeating Letcher County Central 69-55 last week. The Cavaliers also picked up wins over Kachea TN 64-58, Leslie County 60-55. The Cavaliers are on a mission this season. The Mission? Making it back to the regional tournament, a place they haven't been too since the 2004/5 season.
