Final from Hoosier Gym in Knightstown, IN

Pendleton County started out strong and was tied at 18 with the Camels after 1, but Brent Sowder’s bunch came out in a swarming trap defense to begin the 2nd and went on a 15-0 run to take the lead the rest of the way. Garyn Jackson led Campbell with 21 points, who saw all but 2 players dent the scoring column. Aden Merrill and JaZi Grayson paced the Cats with 13 each.  Campbell County is back in action this afternoon against Highlands at Truist Arena, while Pendleton County hosts Augusta on Tuesday evening.

The experience of broadcasting a game in Hoosier Gym is something I’ll never forget, especially with one of my sons alongside me doing color commentary. A bucket list item was checked off for me!
