Simon Kenton led 22-12 at halftime having a bit of trouble with the bearcats 1-3-1 zone defense. Walton closed the gap to 6 early in the third, but the lady pioneers went on a 19-3 run to finish the 3rd up 43-21. They kept the gas on the pedal offensively in the 4th and the defense held Walton in check throughout. Kelch finished with 23 pts. and Pernell 15pts. to lead the lady pioneers.
