Prepvolleyball.com has listed the top FROSH v-ballers in the country and under "special mention" was Beechwood's own Robin Hood.

 

Robin Hood, 5-9 RS, Beechwood (Fort Mitchell KY) – Hood started on the right side for Beechwood and forced defenses to respect her offensive threat, opening up the left side for more one on ones. On the year, Hood finished with 88 kills and 178 digs. “Not only is Robin a force in the front row, her ball control on the pass is also outstanding," said coach Matt Long. “She played the whole court as a freshman...and played with the big girls with NO FEAR.”

Another local and Robin's NKYVC club team mate was a part of the top 59...

 

Gaby Gray, 5-10 OH/RS, Sycamore (Cincinnati Ohio) -- Touching 9-10, this high flyer led the Greater Miami Conference in kills in 2006. Coach John Spinney, the former FSU assistant, says Gray, the sister of Northwestern freshman Brittani Gray, is definitely Big 10 caliber.
