Who would have ever thought that the SEC would be stronger in the rankings in basketball than in football.

They have 8 teams in the top 25 and they also have the #26, #27, & #28 ranked teams. That is 11 teams out of the 18 in the league ranked in the top 28. However, the more impressive is that as of this week 5 of the top 6 teams in college basketball are from the SEC. Now that will change when they start playing and beating each other up. But going into Christmas that is impressive.
