6th Region: Week 2

This week we will see a new #1 in the region as I will be flip flopping Fairdale and Jeffersontown. Fairdale had a very puzzling loss to Moore this week so had to drop them based on that. Jeffersontown got Dayvonne Harrison back and since they have they look very good and with Kahnplaye and Harrison I feel they have the best back court in the state. This region is really so balanced that there is not a clear #1 and anyone in the top 5 could make a claim to be in that spot. Let's get into the rankings and the results from the past week.

Team Rankings

1. Jeffersontown (4-2) - The Chargers had a very good week going 3 and 0 and beating a couple of nice teams. Dayvonne Harrison is back and with him and Prince Kahnplaye I feel they have the best back court in the state.

2. Fairdale (5-2) - The Bulldogs went 2 and 1 this week but did have a bad loss to Moore which was very puzzling. I still believe in this team and think they have as good of shot as anyone to win the region.

3. Butler (4-1) - The Bears had their first loss of the season losing to a very good Green County team on the road. They went 1 and 1 on the week.

4. PRP (3-1) - The Panthers split a pair of games this week against two good teams losing to Manual and defeating Warren Central.

5. Bullitt East (4-1) - The Chargers went 2 and 0 this week and picking up a good region win over Fern Creek.

6.Fern Creek (4-3) - The Tigers had a rough week going 0 and 3 after a 4 and 0 first week. I had to drop them several spots and I have my eye on them this week for sure.

8. Moore (3-3) - Moore had a good week going 2 and 1 with a huge win over Fairdale. They are .500 on the season but have played a very tough schedule.

10. DeSales (1-5) - The Colts had a 0 and 2 week and have fallen to 1 and 5 on the season. As good as this team has been recently it is unreal how much they have fallen this season.
