Madison Central 56 Lexington Christian Academy 36

Featured Replies

Both teams entered this game with 4-0 records but Madison Central came out on top today.  Madison Central led 26-20 at the half but pulled away in the second half for the victory.  Madison Central's team speed and suffocating defense appeared to give the Lady Eagles problems at times as they held a 14-0 advantage on fast break points and managed to get into the paint to earn a 32-10 advantage in points scored in the paint while LCA did most of their damage from long range.

Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 19 points including three point baskets, nine rebounds, and five steals.  Cameryn Ridderikhoff added 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists.  Jordynn Miles added three points as did Tiana Long who had an excellent game off the bench with eight points.  Brittany Campbell recorded seven points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Brooke Campbell continues to star on defense and added five rebounds and five assists.

Chapel Brown led LCA with 16 points including four three point baskets from downtown, and pulled down three rebounds.  Claire Roberts added 10 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.  Piper Graham recorded seven points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Sophie Pridemore pulled down eight rebounds.

On a side note our friends from GLICOD televised both this game and the Franklin County vs. Frederick Douglass game yesterday.
