First quarter was VERY messy by both teams. Cov Cath started off with a 7-0 lead, Scott County got back into it with the lead changing a handful of times, and the Cardinals led 16-12 at the end of 1Q. Cov Cath got settled in shortly into the first half of the 2Q and then absolutely pulled away with it. They led 43-22 at halftime and 70-35 at the end of the 3Q to put the game into a running clock for the 4Q.

Scott County finished 21-58 (36%) shooting, 3-19 from 3, and 0-2 from the free throw line. They had 32 rebounds and turned over 26 times.

Cov Cath finished 37-66 (56%) shooting, 7-17 from 3, and 5-7 from the free throw line. They had 36 rebounds and turned over 17 times.

Cov Cath's Donovan Bradshaw named player of the game with 18 points.

 

The Colonels will face the winner of the Frederick Douglass vs. Great Crossing game tomorrow in the finals of the Billy Hicks Classic with a 1:00pm tipoff.
