The 2023-24 season tips off with a matchup of 2 Sweet Sixteen teams from last season when Ashland Blazer travels to Great Crossing.  The Courier Journal has both teams ranked in their preseason Top 10.  The Tomcats are ranked 9th, while Great Crossing tops their rankings at number 1.  Great Crossing has won the only 2 meetings between these teams.  Does Malachi Moreno and the Great Crossing Warhawks defend their number one ranking, or do the Tomcats pull the upset?
