Test post on New Severe Weather Data

Featured Replies

I predict a potential tornado outbreak for most of Oklahoma and a section of southwest Missouri later today based on the updated data I indicated in a previous post. Specifically, I am focusing on Oklahoma. This is what all of the parameters are showing. I look for powerful long-track tornadoes with intensities close to EF-4. Some could reach EF-5 status. Wind that causes damage and large to very large hail will also be likely. A large part of Oklahoma may see individual supercells that could form, according to the simulated radar. One of the long-track, powerful tornadoes could fall from any of them. It currently seems that people in the impacted area are in a precarious scenario.

Let's check back tomorrow to see how the new data worked. This is a work in process that I plan to have ready by the time we see any possible severe weather.
