Here is the stat summary for the game.

TurboStats GameCast for Football: Ludlow Panthers_vs_Holy Cross Indians

Ludlow clinches first place in 1A District 4 by beating Covington Holy Cross 33-6 at Thomas More University tonight.  The Panthers scored the first 25 points in the first half and the final 8 in the third quarter.  The Indians scored their loan touchdown near the end of the first half.

For Ludlow, RB Dameyn Anness rushes for 96 yards and 1 TD and throws a 33 yard halfback pass to Bryon Conley for another TD.  QB Miller Reed was 6-12 for 121 yards with one TD to Spencer Brandenburg for 6 yards.  Conley and Aiden SmithBaxley both had short TD runs.  For Holy Cross, QB Braylon Thornberry hit Jordan Fabre for a 21 yard strike.  The game, unfortunately, might be remembered for a lot of yellow laundry on the field.  There were numerous personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties (most of which were offsetting).

Ludlow (7-2) is back at home to finish with Paris next Friday night.  Covington Holy Cross (3-6) finishes their regular season on the road against Newport next Friday night.
