Somerset wins their 7th straight 12th region class a title...Hopefully the Jumpers can put another run together in Richmond...They will play Hazard in the first round

Winning the 12th region all a is not a big feather to place in one's cap. How many schools even qualify for the tournament? I would expect the Jumpers to peak and fade as the rest of the season progresses in normal fashion.

Sounds like Someone isn't a Somerset fan.. We'll see about the "fading away"

He's still upset from football season when he predicted a Jacket upset of the Jumpers. Speaking of which how have the Jackets fared in the All A the last few years. The Jumpers have made 3 All A final appearances. As for the region they've been more than competative in spite of being one of the 5 smallest schools in the region. The "fades" are deceptive considering until last year they were in a district with Pulaski, Southwestern, North Laurel, and South Laurel. In most years at least 3 of those teams were in the top 4 of the region.

I am not upset, I am just think the Jumpers seem to fade late in the season. If I am not mistaken they were eliminated last year early by Rockcastle as well. North and South are gone now so maybe a late season run will happen for the Jumpers.

This one was never close after the first three minutes. Coach Thacker pressed for the first 28 minutes. If he had played a half-court game, the Trojans would have kept it around 8 or 10. Smart move on his part.
