Barren County 21 Green County 6

The Dragons and Trojans were in a battle all night. The Dragons scored first and led 6-0 and had another chance to score but fumbled the ball inside the barren 25 yard line. The Dragons forced another Barren punt but again fumbled, but this time inside of their own 30 and Barren took advantage and tied the score at 6-6 at the half. 
 

The start of the second half began with both teams trading punts and then the Dragons once again drove inside the Barren 25 and fumbled. This time, Barren took advantage of the turnover and scored and got the two point conversion and led 14-6. The Dragons would again start moving the ball only to throw an interception with 6 mins to go. Barren would go into score with 1 minute left to take a 21-6 lead and take the win. 
 

Great effort by the young Dragons, so much potential and so many young guys in major positions, that continue to get better each week. The Dragons are going to be a major problem for people in the next three years. 
 

Congrats to Barren, they have some really good looking players and play the game the right way. They might not win 6A, but they are a solid team and I wish them nothing but the best going forward.
