Cumberland won on a put back off an offensive rebound by 6'6 Senior Desmond Johnson.....49 - 47 over a game Barbourville team....close game throughout. Good luck to the Redskins as they head to Richmond for the State Tourney........North Carolina has been good to Pulaski so why not Cumberland this time around.

I hope that Cumberland does well in Richmond. It sounds like Dinky has about got his kids ready for the tournament. He always seems to get better as the year goes along.

I disagree with you on that Noles.....Barbourville usually is tougher in December and January than they are in March.....last year was the exception. I think with no football program the Tigers are in mid season form early and usually fade early in the district or region. I think Cumberland can win a game or two. Of course they have to score more than 45 to win at Richmond. The officals there will let you play and rarely call the games tight. It is usually a survivial of the strongest team around the basket.....so we will see.

Bubba you've disagreed with me on evry thread tonight. Where is the love? It is always tough on the public schools at Richmond. I've not seen the draw do you know who the Skins play.

The 13th plays the 3rd region not sure who won it......

I have to poke you in the ribs from time to time Noles.....beside you pickin on my boy Crawford tonight.

I think the Redskins will play McLean County or Owens Cath......McLean is the favorite

Very good game by both teams. No one backed down the whole night.Barbourville is gonna be a dangerous team come March. If Cumberland plays ball they can make some noise in Richmond.Good Luck Skins!
