nWo Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 There is a chance of damaging winds, isolated hail, and even a few tornadoes today in portions of the Midwest and Ohio Valley due to severe thunderstorms. On the severe potential over portions of the Midwest and Ohio Valley, uncertainty surrounds the impact of early morning convection and associated outflow. With a chance of damaging wind, isolated hail, and maybe even a tornado or two, the potential for organized severe storms is still present. Sections of the Midwest and Ohio Valley are now included in the Slight Risk area; according to how morning convection develops and the ensuing destabilization, a corridor with higher severe probability may eventually be required.
