The Rockets were 7-5 last year against this same schedule, and had their season ended in a 49-7 shellacking in the second round of the 2A playoffs thanks to eventual 2A runners-up, Owensboro Catholic. O-Cath also beat Crittenden County 62-12 in the regular season. They were also beaten 46-6 during the regular season by 2A competitor Mayfield.
