LeMans 2024 MAX

(HBO)MAX is televising the entire race.

Lemans isn't everyone's thing and can be tough to follow with cars from different classes with vastly different abilities on the track together. Still kinda cool that it's available on MAX.

There are three US manufacturers involved this year with Cadillacs, Corvettes and Mustangs running.

Early on best Cadilac was running 4th in hypercar class.

Best Mustang was running 2nd in GT3 class with the other two in the top ten as well.

The best Corvette was running top ten in GT3 class.

In less than 1/2 hour the hypercars were lapping the other classes on the 8.5 mile circuit.

The top 9 Hypercars completed 311 laps.

LMP2

All entrants are manufactured by Oreca w/Gibson engines, top 5 in this class completed 297 laps.

1. Porsche 911 GT3

2. BMW M4 GT3

3. FORD MUSTANG GT3

4. FORD MUSTANG GT3 

The 911 completed 281 laps while the 2nd to 5th finishers completed 280 laps.

I'm happy with the Mustangs first showing at Lemans and look forward to following them in the coming years.
