Just in time for opening day, Prep Baseball Report has released its Top 25 rankings for the bluegrass state.

Highlights

• Trinity (☘) gets the nod at #1, followed by perennial power McCracken County (?) at #2.

• Lofty expectations have been placed on heavy R16 favorite Boyd County (#3, ?).

•Manual (#4, ♈) nips at the heels of the top ranked Shamrocks in R7.

• Big things are expected again from reigning state champion Whitley County (??), who checks in at #8.

• NKY front-runner Ryle (?‍☠️) catches the tail end of the Top 10.

• Pikeville (?) proves there's nothing they can't excel at with a #14 ranking on the diamond.

• St. X (?), the most decorated program in state history, takes a back seat to T, Manual, and Eastern in R7, but commands enough respect to land at #19.
