DevilMayCare Posted March 10, 2024 Author Posted March 10, 2024 High Scorers Russell 🔱 - Steele 17 Boyd County 🦁 - Biggs 16 Jasmine Jordan was held to 9 points after averaging 27.5 in the two regular season games. Never would've predicted that. Also didn't see Russell doubling up Boyd in points in the paint, 24-12. Hannah Sanders is often the unsung hero for Russell. She's not a go-to scorer, but her fingerprints were all over this game. She plays like a senior who knows the end is coming and isn't letting go without a fight. Gabby Oborne was a little boss off the bench, serving as a spark for the second quarter run that gained Russell the separation it was searching for. Russell clearly has a star, but every girl that sees the floor contributes something significant. Not a lot of empty minutes played in their rotation. It's a selfless culture. Congratulations to the Lady Devils. This team can win games at Rupp.
