16th Region Quarterfinal

Rowan County Vikings (22-10) | Russell Red Devils (17-12)

? | Ellis T. Johnson Arena in Morehead

Tip-off | 8:00pm tonight (3/6) or roughly 30 minutes after the conclusion of Boyd/East

? | They've met twice this season, both resulting in convincing wins for the Vikings. The consistency of their senior laden lineup has gotten the better of the youthful Devils, with the trio of Wilburn, Watson, and Mirus combining for 49 points to repel Russell in their most recent encounter on 2/27. Russell's frosh have to play well beyond their years to pull this off. They've flashed the goods this season, but this would take another gear.
