The first 10 minutes were a back and forth affair, with the Greendevils tied it at 19 apiece. After that, the rout was on. Pendleton County went on a 39-9 run to put the game out of reach. 12 Wildcats dented the scoring column, led by Alex Beyst's career high 30, with the final free throw cementing his spot as the 21st member of Pendleton County's 1000 point club. Aden Merrill (11), Austin Kirsch (11), and Hunter Jack (10) all reached double digits for the Wildcats (11-16). Mason Johnson led Dayton (5-22) with 21 points, including 6 three pointers. Dayton is back in action Monday night against Bellevue in the opening round of the 36th District Tournament at Newport HS.
