Delaware State 66 Coppin State 56

Recommended Posts

I watched this one online and all in all, it was a good game, well at least competitive. Delaware State (11-13, 4-4 MEAC) struggled but found a way to beat cellar-dwelling Coppin State (2-20, 1-7 conf) by ten on the road tonight. Hitting 43.6% in the win compared to an ice-cold 31% for the Eagles was a big reason for the win. The Hornets had a 35-29 advantage on the boards. Leading the path to the win was, Ddeywik Tavarez (Pennsauken, NJ) 22 points, 8 assists, and 6 boards. Wesley Oba (Manchester, England) came off of the bench to add 14 points and 6 boards. For the Eagles, Malik Battle (Douglasville, GA) came off of the bench to score 17.
