Hazard added three more wins to they’re win column this week, picking up wins over Breathitt County 68-61, Perry County Central 57-54 and Powell County 76-49.

2) Breathitt County (13-8):

Previous Rank: 1

The Bobcats are struggling at the wrong time of the season, having lost 4 of their last 6 games. One of those wins was an 80-77 overtime win against Powell County, a team they shouldn’t have had any issues with. Actually Powell was up 12 late against the Bobcats before they rallied.

3) Knott County Central (17-4):

The Patriots, much like Hazard, also added three more wins to they’re win streak and extended it to 5 games. 
Morgan County 69-58, Harlan 63-56 and Wolfe County 72-56.

4) Perry County Central (15-10):

Previous Rank: 4

Perry County Central went 2-1 last week, picking up wins over Leslie County 68-54 and Letcher County Central 47-31 but falling to Hazard 57-54.

This Week:

Saturday at Boyd County.

5) Letcher County Central (10-10):

Previous Rank: 5

LCC dropped two games last week, falling to both Hazard and Perry County central.

6) Wolfe County (10-9):

Previous Rank: 6

Wolves picked up two wins last week, defeating both Estill County 87-81 and Betsy Layne 87-83 in overtime while dropping a game to Knott County Central 72-56.

7) Powell County (9-11):

Previous Rank: 7

Powell County dropped two out of three games this week including a heart breaking loss to previously ranked #1 Breathitt County 80-77 in overtime. Their lone win was over Lee County 72-51.  They also fell to Hazard 76-49. Pirates, however locked up the 1 seed in the 56th district tournament.

8 ) Estill County (15-7):

Engineers picked up two district wins last week, defeating Owsley County 72-55 and Lee County 74-54 to lock up the second  seed in the 56th district tournament.
