DCA over Lincoln 48-46 in a hard fought game at DCA.  DCA appeared to be in control with a ten point lead after limiting Lincoln to 2 in the second quarter.  Lincoln got hot from three point range and had a shot to win at the buzzer but couldn’t connect.

Although a loss, this was an impressive effort by Lincoln. They had a look at the buzzer to win it on DCA’s home floor. I really thought this would be a solid double digit win for DCA.
 

I think this bodes well for Lincoln in district and region. I’m anxious to see what they do on Friday against Boyle, who had to fight to get a win against West Jessamine tonight.

It seemed like DCA got a little fatigued in the 4th quarter.  They weren’t getting to Lincoln’s three point shooters as well as they did earlier in the game and Lincoln was hitting.  

Starting to think this might be the most likely regional championship matchup. I don't think there is much doubt these are the two hottest teams in the region right now. Not saying it will for sure happen, just saying if you made me give my best guess, it would  be these two meeting in the regional championship game.
