Here is your 8th Region rankings and review week 7. 

1. North Oldham (15-2)
North Oldham continues to dominate this season. Now winners of seven straight, the Mustangs haven’t lost since December 22nd. Grant Neal dominated this week in wins over Shawnee, Evangel Christian, and North Hardin with 25, 33, and 41 points respectfully. They look to keep things rolling with this week a game at CAL Tuesday, and then a big district game on the road Friday against Oldham County. 

2. Woodford County (13-3)
Woodford went 1-1 on the week with a 5 point win over Washington Co before facing a 7 point setback against 13th region favorite Harlan Co. Layton Starks led the way against Washington with 22 on the night. The Yellow Jackets take on Shelby Co at home on Friday before facing the states top team in Lyon County at Scott Co in the Dan Cummins Classic on Saturday. 

3. South Oldham (9-6)
The Green Dragons are now winners of 7 straight as they had a big week with a big district win over Oldham County in OT. They were led by Christian Veirs and Julian Miles who went for 27 and 26 together. South Oldham hasn’t dropped a game since December 21st. They look to continue their winning ways against Owen County Saturday in the Henry County Classic. 

4. Oldham County (13-5)
Oldham Co had been rolling before a setback in OT against South Oldham. This was a big district game so Oldham needs to rebound as they host North Oldham Friday at home in a big game for seeding. The Colonels also had a 28 point win over Williamstown and a 9 point win over Walton Verona this week. Max Green had a big week with 30, 26, and 35 in the three games this week. The Colonels also play Anderson Co at Henry County on Saturday. 

5. Walton Verona (14-5)
WV went 1-1 on the week with an 11 point win over Simon Kenton and an 11 point loss to Oldham County. The win over SK put’s Walton Verona at 1-0 in the district so far this year. The Bearcats will host Cov Cath Tuesday night, then travel to Williamstown on Friday. 

6. Spencer County (8-8)
Spencer Co went 1-0 on the week with a 12 point win over Shelby County at home. They were led by a balanced scoring attack which saw six players score 8+ points. Spencer goes to Bullitt Central Tuesday, then hosts Collins on Friday. They wrap the week up against Grant Co at Henry Co in the Henry Co Classic on Saturday. 

7. Shelby County (10-7)
Shelby Co went 1-1 on the week with a 9 point win over Valley and a 12 point loss to Spencer Co. Dillon Ritchey and Michael Jones led the way over Valley with 21 points a piece. The Rockets host the Kentucky Christian Knights on Tuesday, then go to Woodford County Friday in a big matchup. 

8. Gallatin County (11-5)
The Wildcats went 1-0 on the week with a 32 point drubbing over Carroll County. The win saw 10 players get in the scoring column and 12 players get PT. Gallatin hosts Eminence tonight, then they travel to Owen County Thursday and Augusta on Friday. 

9. Williamstown (11-3)
The Demons went 2-1 on the week with a 28 point setback to Oldham County, but then bounced back with a 25 point win over Heritage Academy and a 5 point win over Henry County. Colton Feagan had a monster week with a 39 point game against Oldham Co, then 39 and 35 to wrap up the last two. He currently sits towards the top of the states ranks in all scoring categories as he averages 29.6 a game. The Demons will travel to Simon Kenton Tuesday, then host Walton-Verona on Saturday. 

10. Anderson County (12-5)
The Bearcats continue to put together a nice season as they go 2-0 on the week with a 13 point win over Bullitt Central and a 12 point win over Collins. Treyton Hart led the way in scoring over Bullitt Central with 20 and Carson Sutherland led the way against Collins with 22. Anderson Co hosts Bethlehem Tuesday, goes to Bluegrass Untied on Thursday, then faces off against Oldham County on Saturday.
