A second round of snowfall is expected for that area again by late afternoon and early evening and into the early hours of Tuesday. Additional light snow accumulations are expected in the Winter Weather Advisory area. In the Winter Storm Warning area, there will not be much of a break in the snow, which will result in higher amounts, mostly in the 4 to 7-inch range for a storm total. Bitter cold temps and wind chills will result in this two-phase system's first phase ending across northern and central Kentucky, but a few light snow showers will persist this morning.
