The two most have ranked as the top teams in the 11th region will square off Friday in an early season matchup in the semifinals of the Billy Hicks Classic. The game will be played at Scott County High School at 8:00pm. The winner will take on the Ballard vs. Scott County winner Saturday afternoon in the championship. The Broncos are without without two of their top 7 players in Logan Busson and Noah Jones who are currently injured. The game can be seen on the NFHS Network with membership.

Early in the 3rd quarter Douglass cut it to 4 but got no closer. Great Crossing leads now 46-36 with 4:47 left in the 3rd quarter.

Great Crossing ended the quarter on a 6-0 on two 3's by Vince Dawson to lead Douglass 58-43 after 3 quarters.

Douglass cuts it to 7 at 66-59 with 3 minutes to play.

The Warhawks lead 68-61 with 1:21 to play.

Douglass cut it to 69-64 with :15 seconds to play got a steal and had a open 3 to cut it to 2 but missed.

GC leads 71-66 with :1.8 seconds to play. It's been a very entertaining game between two of the top teams in the 11th region and the state in early December.
