Auburn just took the lead on #8 Alabama at Auburn in the Iron Bowl. The Tigers are leading 21-20 with under 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

Alabama just missed a 46 yard FG to take back the lead. It seems to me that if Bama had a better kicking game through the Saban years they might have had a couple more National Titles.

Auburn now leads 24-20 with 10:15 left to play. This is the same Auburn who lost last Saturday in this same stadium to none other than New Mexico State by 21 points at 31-10.

Alabama has the ball on their own 18 with just over 6 minutes to play and still trail by 4.

My goodness Auburn forces a punt then the kid for Auburn fumbles the punt and Bama recovers. Bama starts at the Auburn 30 gets a first down to the Auburn 19 then has a sack and on a 3rd and 20 Milroe scrambles for 19 and it is going to come down now to a 4th and 1 from the Auburn 10.

Bama set up for a tush push and then run a toss pitch for the 1st down. Auburn probably deserves to win this one, but great teams find a way to win when they don't play their best ball It be an interesting 2+ minutes.

My goodness Bama on second down a mixup on the shotgun snap and now it is 3rd and goal from the 26.

Next Milroe goes across the line of scrimmage then tries to go back behind it and throw the ball. Now it is 4th and goal from the 31 yard line. Surely Auburn cannot lost this game. Can they?

Unreal! Touchdown Alabama on 4th and goal from the 31 yard line. Auburn only rushed 2 and had 9 in coverage and get a touchdown and will go up 27-24 with :32 seconds left.

Now on the kickoff a fight ensues and the official is on the ground and now flags.

Then Bama intercepts and looks line runs it back for a touchdown to end it. Final 33-24.
