The Lady Colonels have heart and grit, and maybe their best team ever. The Rockets are the No. 11 team in the country, with skill, size, and depth - they'll grind you down over time. 

Set 1 ~ Tied at 11 before Assumption went on a 14-4 run. 

Set 2 ~ Tight throughout. Every time Whitley scored a point, the girls from the 'Ville answered. 

Set 3 ~ The Rockets put the hammer down - never close, never in doubt. 

For the three sets, Assumption closed out on runs of four, five, and three points.  

Semifinal 1 tomorrow pairs Assumption and No. 14 Mercy at GRC. It'll be the third meeting this year between the Jefferson County rivals (and possibly the eleventy-billionth time in this tournament's history).
