Much better match than the girls played right before. 

Ashland (13-6) has won eleven of its last twelve. The one loss was a 2-1 setback to Russell in the district finals. The Tomcats flipped the script to win the bigger of the two trophies. 

Ashland advances to host 15th Region Champion Lawrence County in the first round of the state tournament on 10/17.
