? The Valkyries, ranked best in the state last week by the state's coaches, bounced back from Wednesday's loss to Lex Cath to best the No. 4 Banshees at the Lady Knights Challenge Cup.

• Both teams continue play on Monday with big matches:

Bethlehem (10-4-1) defending "Kentucky All 'A'" champs, visits Louisville Holy Cross in the "5th/6th Region All 'A' Sectional."

SHA (11-2-1) hosts eighth ranked, and defending KHSAA State titleist, South Oldham.

The SHA vs South game should be a good yardstick to measure South's progress.  SHA should be a heavy favorite.  Even a close result might give South room to hope!! There's a lot of good soccer still to be played.
