- Trinity clinches the #1 ranking, followed by arch rival St. X at #2. Manual jumps three spots to #3, giving Region 7 the top three ranked teams in the state.

- Previous #1 Lexington Catholic fell to #4 following a 1-4 skid to close the regular season.

- McCracken County holds steady at #5. The Mustangs are getting hot at the right time, winning ten of their last twelve. One of those losses was a 7-4 setback to the newly christened #1 Shamrocks.
